URHOBO NUMBERING SYSTEM
UKERI means ‘counting’ in the Urhobo language The Urhobo numbering system can count up to one billion and more, like it is done in other languages. The system as uses mathematical process of addition, multiplication and subtraction.
The following is the lists of mathematical processes:
- Ake̖ghe̖ = Fraction of
- Gbe̖. Kugbe̖. Pavwe̖ = Plus
- Asakue̖ = Multiplied by
- Nuro = Minus
